We have some great programs coming your way from "The George Washington Trail" in the coming weeks. Today, Luke and I visited Gunston Hall--the home of George Mason--about 10 miles south of Mount Vernon. 

Of course, Mason was in many ways the Father of our Bill of Rights.  And George Washington was a frequent visitor to Gunston Hall.  As for the relationship between both men after Mason's refusal to sign the Constitution, well, let's just say, it was "complicated."  

We're on The George Washington Trail...and this place--on Virginia's Northern Neck--is really spectacular!
